About Us
The Wainwright Equine Training Society, locally known as the Wainwright Equine Centre or WEC is operated by a VOLUNTEER Board of Directors.
We offer: a clean, dry, heated indoor riding arena open to all equine enthusiasts. Regular activities include: public riding, gymkhana practice, competitions, barrel racing, clinics, jumping, occasional activities include Cowboy Challenge fun days. Check out the calendar of events for activities and timings. If you have a specific equine activity you would like to get started let us know.
The arena is also available for rent for private, club or other functions. Check out our website for rental details.
Parking
All parking is on the east side of the building off of 8th Street. The current people entrance is in the alley to the north — this is where the lights are located. All horses are to be brought through the entrance on the south end of the building. Thanks for your cooperation.
Manure Management
All riders are responsible for cleaning up after their horse(s) inside and outside of the arena. Rakes and tubs are provided. Full manure buckets, please put bag in the dumpster outside. Thanks for the help.
